The story behind AppUi

A toolkit that started as a personal need, and grew into something bigger — built solo, one tool at a time.

📖 How it started

💡
A learning project

It all began simply: I wanted to learn how to build applications with a real user interface. Instead of following a tutorial, I decided to build something I would actually use.

🔧
Tools I actually needed

Working in IT support, I kept running into the same tasks over and over. So I started building the tools I needed for my own job — one small utility at a time, solving my own problems.

🚀
It became something bigger

Tool after tool, the project started to look like something real — a professional platform. That's when I decided to turn it into what AppUi Tools is today: a complete toolkit for IT technicians.

🎯 How I build it

🌱
At my own pace
I build AppUi mainly for the fun of it and to keep learning. No rushed deadlines — quality over speed.
🎯
A real product, eventually
The goal is to turn AppUi into a genuine product. It may take time — I'm solo — but that's where it's heading.
🪟
Built in the open
The roadmap is public, the beta is open, and user feedback directly shapes what gets built next.
⚖️
Fair by design
Tools that simply wrap what Windows already does stay free. You only pay for what I actually built.
Want to follow along?
AppUi is shaped by the people who use it. Check the roadmap, try the beta, or just say hello — I read every message.
